Mizoram Geography

Mizoram, one of the eight sister states of north eastern India is a land of rolling hills, rivers and lakes. The state is surrounded by Myanmar (Burma) in the east and Bangladesh in the west. Its topography is defined by large mountainous with precipitous slopes forming deep gorges culminating into several streams and rivers.
